Our client, a large Aluminum Extruder, is looking for a Quality Manager at their flagship location.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right individual with career growth opportunity.
KEY REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum 7 - 10 years of Quality experience in a Manufacturing facility
Experience in metals industry, Aluminum preferred
Experience with Quality Systems
TS16949 Automotive experience
3-5 years of Experience Managing a Quality Team of 10
individuals
Strong problem solving skills
Six Sigma Experience
Demonstrated ability to work in and through teams, with all levels of the workforce;
including managing up to operating leadership and executive levels is required.
Experience with Geometric and Dimensional Tolerance preferred
High level of competence with Microsoft office tools is desired

Responsibilities:
Responsible for a team of 25
Provide a safe working environment for all in the department and enable personal growth.
Leads a team of Quality Control, and Quality Assurance professionals to ensure that the business
is achieving its quality goals and improvement plans
Directs the business technical strategy in support of market and product development and plays a major role in shaping business strategy and developing policy across the organization.
Facilitates decision making processes in the development of the business plan and critical operational issues.
Focuses on the strategic outlook and plans for a product or service capability, technical or administrative functions, or production capability.
Defines future needs in the marketplace and determine effective strategies for addressing these needs.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in one of the Engineering Sciences REQUIRED
Metallurgical or Materials Science Degree preferred
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
